In May of 2018, a category F2 tornado hit the town of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, causing a three-quarter mile long path of destruction through several of the town’s shopping plazas. Walker was contacted immediately to review the damage and to help the client determine a course of action to a bring the building and related business back into service.
Walker quickly responded to the clients request for help and was able to assess the damage, create documentation to help repair the building as per code, allowing the business to re-open three days after the incident.
