Walker was the prime designer for a new 1,560 space 5-level parking structure for the Rivers Casino, which is seeking LEED certification. The rectangular free-standing precast structure is located at the northwest corner of the site. A pedestrian bridge is designed for covered access into the casino.
A state of the art parking guidance system (PGS) allows patrons to quickly access the casino without the hassle and environmental impacts of searching for empty parking spaces. This single-space PGS will alert parkers via a master sign on each floor as to the availability of parking on that level. Each space is illuminated green if available so at quick glance a user can see which spots are open.
Metal accent panels with green trellis walls break up the otherwise plain precast spandrel panel façade.
