Toledo, Ohio
Walker Consultants provided functional design, parking access and revenue control system (PARCS) design, and structural engineering for a mixed-use parking structure at ProMedica’s headquarters in downtown Toledo.
The project is a 720 space, 7-level “L” shaped parking structure connected by a centralized, vertical stair and elevator tower. An additional one-story underground parking structure supports a public plaza including grass, walking paths, planters, and a large video screen for community films.
The structure also includes a 4,500 square foot restaurant and a rooftop viewing area of the river and summer fireworks. Its façade includes steel supported canopies, aluminum vertical fins, steel mesh panels and architectural precast concrete.
