Durham Garage

BACKGROUND

Located in Omaha, Nebraska the Durham Garage serves both patients and visitors of Nebraska Medical Center. Constructed in 1989, years of traffic wear and exposure to the elements took its toll on the building.

SOLUTION

Following a thorough condition assessment and planning study, separate improvement packages were developed to phase improvements.  The major repair packages included: structural, waterproofing, striping, and a wayfinding signage package.  The entire facility was also painted to improve reflectivity and LED lighting was installed to enhance occupant safety.  The end result, is a much-improved parking experience for visitors that will serve the Omaha metro area for decades to come.
